Founders Julie Van Dam and Stefen Janke are passionate about Vegan Cheese. After years working in upscale fine dining restaurants such as LA's Patina, San Francisco's Aqua and The Waterfront. Julie and Stefen underwent a life changing health event - In 2014, Julie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer. They went Vegan and never looked back. After recovering from treatment, the couple wanted to share their love of fine food and skills of making it with the world. After much research and development, Jule's Vegan Artisanal Foods was born.
Jule's uses fresh nuts sources from regions around the world. We use fresh herbs, handpicked at the peak of perfection. We want to give our customers creamy, ripe, delicious traditionally made cheese that are Vegan, Dairy-free, environmentally friendly and cruelty free. Most of all, we want to expand people's palates and prove that cheese doesn't always come from dairy.
Jule's Artisanal Foods uses traditional cheesemaking techniques to start a new vegan tradition of cheesemaking. We create everything in small batches from our shop in California. To achieve optimal flavor, our cheeses are ages from three to six weeks, making every cheese unique.
